The Orange was written as a children's story, and children should find it fun, charming, and cheerful. Without spoiling this simple story, it can be said that it shows how even an orange that puts his trust in God may not be disappointed but may be rewarded with the best destiny. This is a message for all ages, particularly in times when a person might find reasons to be discouraged. This might be the simplest and yet the most hopeful story, or sermon, that the reader, whether a child or an adult, has heard in a while. Both the author, the publisher, and others who made this book possible will attest that, while the story is imaginative and by all means meant to entertain, the backstory behind it has been proven over and over, in our lives and in countless others' lives. So enjoy the reading, and in your enjoyment also be blessed as you trust your Creator more and more.

The true story of a man living on Mt. Saint Helens in Washington state when it erupted on May 18, 1980, inspired this book, The Volcano. I dedicate this book to the memory of this man who was a loner who refused to leave the mountain and so perished on it. Here you are asked to imagine another man who also sought time away on the mountain. His fate was different because he was praying and heeded a small but insistent voice telling him to get off the mountain at once. This rescue was sudden but dramatic and a squeaker! There is One who is unwilling that anyone should perish!

This story is a parable, representing how God's love for us might be likened to that of a chicken farmer, who loved his chickens so much that he would do anything to protect them. He would even fit them with phones to call him when the sly, cunning fox threatened them. Little did the author know when he wrote this story that he had anticipated the mobile phone by about fifteen years!

Immerse yourself in the lives of three sisters in the late 19th century, western United States. Thought to be simpler times, this period was not always easy for women wanting to balance between family and a career. Hardworking farm life was rewarding but brought its challenges, including lower life expectancy due to illnesses without cures. Belle is a strong character who encountered these challenges head-on. This novel is primarily based on real living, breathing people from that time, but with dramatic literary freedom, it became a work of fiction.
